German pump manufacturer Gardner Denver Thomas has developed a new peristaltic pump offering the QuiXchange system which, the company says, makes tube changes extremely quick and easy without requiring any special tools.

The spring loaded roller carrier and the housing provide protection for the tube and are durable. Even at the high loads traditionally associated with pumping highly viscous liquids the countered bearing motor shaft guarantees a safe operation.

As an option the flow rate can be electronically adjusted. Through integrated electronics and a potentiometer the on-time can be regulated and the delivery rate set between of 0 and 3 l/h. The suction height is 8 m and the pressure height is 10 m. The pump is suitable for applications such as dosing of cleaning agents, delivering rinsing liquid and chemicals, and removal of condensation.
